Hope that MSN starts working again, or something similar to give you company. You could always try an Internet-based version of MSN that I've seen other people use.
My msn did start working again. Funny, I don't normally use msn all that much, just on that particular day it was frustrating me that it wasn't working.
Oh, and I can narrow down the list of potentials for the anonymous commenter to about 3 or 4 people...after all, they knew about my migraine.

I don't know if MSN was down or if it was just the version on your computer, but web messenger (for windows or macs) is always good when in need.
