Pirates...

Studying and summer do not go well together...

Studying and summer do not go well together. I am working really hard on two essays and trying to study as well, and the heat is trying really hard to keep me from that. Even last night, in the middle of the night, it was too hot for me to concentrate properly. Yuk. I have been drinking excessive amounts of lime cordial in an attempt to stay cool, but it is not working. Particularly not in my study - which is at the very back of the house, where all the heat seems to collect. Actually, our whole house is collecting heat at the moment. Except the living room, where there is air conditioning. However, it is not an ideal room to study in - it's too tempting to watch tv instead. So, I'm stuck back here, in my terribly warm study, trying hard to concentrate. I'm getting there with the essays, it's just hard work in this heat. Not good.
